New Member Orientation is designed to help you better understand your association, the resources available to you, and your responsibilities as a REALTOR®. During the class, we will cover YAR, Arizona REALTORS® (AAR), and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) member benefits; committees, leadership, and the YAR Board of Directors; governance; MLS rules and YAR policies; and REALTOR® advocacy and RAPAC. The goal is to help you start your membership with a strong understanding of the tools, support, and professional standards available to you.
As part of the New Member Orientation process, you must also complete the National Association of REALTORS®’ online Code of Ethics course and Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation. Both courses must be completed prior to attending the in-person orientation.
Please make sure both online requirements are completed before the November 18 orientation so that your New Member Orientation requirements can be completed successfully.
